What is a house concert?

A house concert is a special type of event, unlike anything you’ve ever been to. Musicians play for you in the intimate setting of a living room, with little if any amplification. It’s pretty much like having the musician over to your house to play for you. These are listening shows, geared towards people who want to actually hear great music, up close and personal.  No phones, no folks chatting through the songs, no one getting up for a latte in the middle of a song - the music is the important thing here.

In the Laramie House Concert Series, we have seating for 40 people. We ask that you make a reservation for a show, and either pay for your ticket beforehand on-line or in -person, or pay when you arrive. All of the proceeds go directly to the musicians. Info on tickets can be found on the pages for each show. Once you have made a reservation, we will give you specific directions to the house.

Since the concert is held in a private home, feel free to bring anything you wish to drink including alcoholic drinks and your own cups. Snacks of some sort - desserts, redneck sushi, etc. - are usually provided.
